The Chief Executive of Interactive Investor Richard Wilson has broken cover this week about the intentions for integrating the firms latest ambitious acquisition.

On 2 June 2017 Interactive Investor Limited completed the purchase and disinvestment of TD Direct Investing (Europe) Limited from The Toronto-Dominion Bank.

TD Direct Investing is now no longer affiliated with the Toronto-Dominion Bank and the TD Direct Investing logo and name will be used under licence by Interactive Investor.

The company confirmed that TD Direct Investing will be included under the Interactive Investor name on the existing enhanced platform but there are no details yet about final rebranding and it is not clear if the TD Direct name is set to disappear.

TD Direct customers can log in and trade as normal but may see references to Interactive Investor. The TD platform remains the same but with additional market research, analysis tools and investment recommendations.

Interactive Investor gets the additional benefit of further geographic reach as TD Direct currently offers customers the ability to trade in over thirty countries and in nine currencies.

Customers will have to wait though to find out exactly how the new combined group will finally rebrand as they shall for a new, simpler pricing structure indicated for later in the year.
