The Mail on Sunday Midas column has a buy for Renishaw at £12.22, noting that recent fall over concern about growth expectations look overdone. In Updates, hold Petrofac as brokers widely expect a rebound from recent weakness to £16 or more.
The Sunday Times Inside the City thinks Monitise, who report full-year figures on Thursday, is only worth buying on the possibility that 14% shareholder Visa eventually takes it over.
The Sunday Times also wrote that it may be better to invest with financial adviser Hargreaves Lansdown than buy the brokers underperforming shares, especially since the FSA - Financial Services Authority is planning a clampdown on fees.
The Sunday Telegraph Sunday Questor had a hold for Lloyds insurer Amlin at 297p, as an income stock currently yields 7.8pc, forecast to increase to 8.9pc by 2013, also with long-term growth value.
